Building a Future for everyone

OUR MISSION
What Drives Us
ONYX Worldwide Foundation is on a mission to confront the housing crisis, providing shelter and advocating for accessible housing policies. Our focus is on rebuilding lives and supporting vulnerable populations affected by the border crisis in Texas, while also addressing housing needs in St. Thomas and beyond. Through our work, we aim to create sustainable solutions that address immediate housing needs while advocating for long-term policy changes that ensure safe and affordable housing for all.

Dedicated to rebuilding lives and supporting vulnerable populations, we address the critical housing needs of the homeless and asylum seekers. We strive to create safe, affordable living spaces and offer essential support, ensuring those in need have the resources and opportunities to rebuild their lives.

KEY INITIATIVES
Our Focus Areas
Dedicated to bringing impactful change, we focus on providing safe, affordable housing and essential support to vulnerable populations.
Supporting Asylum Seekers & The Homeless
Empowering Connections
We assist asylum seekers by providing legal resources, job training, and services to help them transition to permanent housing. At the same time, we support the local homeless population through outreach programs, shelter partnerships, and services aimed at providing stable housing and long-term stability for all.
Law Enforcement Partnerships
Ensuring Safety
We collaborate with law enforcement to establish safe houses for individuals in need, ensuring secure spaces where vulnerable people can seek refuge. These safe houses provide protection from harm, creating a secure environment for displaced or at-risk individuals during times of crisis. By working closely with local law enforcement, we ensure that safety and stability are prioritized, helping to restore a sense of security for those most in need.
Crisis Response, Relief, & Rebuild
Immediate Support
We provide immediate response efforts, including temporary shelters and essential resources to those affected. However, our most important work begins with rebuilding. We focus on restoring homes, infrastructure, and communities to ensure displaced individuals have access to safe, permanent housing. By prioritizing long-term recovery, we help communities rebuild stronger and more resilient, providing the resources and support needed to fully recover and thrive beyond the disaster.
The Tiny Home Initiative
Empowering Shelter
The Tiny Home Initiative provides safe, affordable housing for women recovering from abuse and elderly individuals in need. By offering sustainable, self-contained homes, we create a supportive environment where residents can heal, regain independence, and build a brighter future. Through life skills programs, and a strong sense of community, the initiative empowers individuals to move forward with confidence, fostering resilience and long-term well-being.
Our Projects
Reviving Tillett Gardens
Tillett Gardens, once a forgotten complex on St. Thomas, is undergoing a transformative restoration to bring hope and opportunity to the local community. Originally a cattle farm and cultural center for local artists, this historic property is being reimagined as a vibrant hub that will provide safe housing, a dedicated homeschooling environment, and a sustainable space for families in need.
Our vision is to create a thriving community where children can learn in a safe, supportive environment, local artists can showcase their talents, and families can rebuild their lives. By fostering creativity, education, and resilience, we aim to help the community recover from past challenges and thrive for generations to come.
We invite you to witness this transformation and join us in supporting this vital project. Your involvement will help ensure Tillett Gardens becomes a lasting resource, offering a brighter, more resilient future for the community.
Epiphany A New Beginning for St. Thomas
Tillett Gardens is also home to Epiphany Homeschool, a program currently seeking certification to expand its ability to offer private education to underserved children in the Virgin Islands. With a focus on long-term sustainability and preparedness for future natural disasters, Tillett Gardens is becoming a beacon of hope, transforming lives and providing a safe haven in the heart of St. Thomas.
